FAQ
What is sound healing?
Sound healing is a meditative practice that uses sound and vibrations to calm both the mind and body. Through mindful listening, it transforms and expands consciousness, enabling a deeper connection with oneself. This practice promotes emotional release and mental clarity, supporting overall well-being. Sound healing is not just about soothing the mind and body; it also enhances the body's natural ability to regenerate and heal. Embrace the holistic benefits and discover a profound sense of harmony that always reside within us.
How does sound healing works?
Sound healing uses soothing sounds and vibrations from various instruments to create a calming environment, allowing you to journey inward and facilitate your own healing. Sessions typically start with a guided meditation to help you relax. We use instruments like Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, gongs, drums, tuning forks, and other resonant tools to shift your brainwaves from a busy, thinking state to a restful, meditative state. This process promotes deep relaxation, clarity, and intuition.

A key step in the healing process is setting a clear intention. We combine the frequency of the sound vibrations with your personal intention for healing, change, or transformation. By the end of the session, you'll feel rejuvenated and more in tune with yourself.
How many sessions do I need before I can see results or get better?
For the healing process to be most effective we have found that an initial program of 4 sessions is recommended. You may find that a longer or shorter course of treatments will work best for you. Please remember- healing is a process. Sometimes, we expect immediate results and are disappointed when it seems nothing is happening. To embrace the healing journey, it's best to let go of expectations and let life unfold, step-by-step. We are here to hold space for you to journey inward with ease.
Are there any side effects of sound healing?
There are no officially recognised side effects of sound healing.
How should I prepare for a session?
Have a light meal and stay hydrated. Avoid alcohol and caffeine (like coffee or tea) at least two hours before your session, as they can affect your relaxation. Setting an intention for what you want to change, transform, or heal can enhance the effectiveness of your session and provide a clearer focus for your experience.
What should I wear to the session?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing to avoid restricting your movements or circulation during the session. Occasionally, instruments may be placed on your body, so items like belts, big jewelries, buttons or sequins could interfere.
How long does each session last?
Typically, we offer 75-minute, and 90-minute sessions, but we're happy to tailor them to your needs.
What should I do after a session?
Following a sound healing session it's best to take it easy, relax, and go for a walk and avoid stressful situations. If you feel ungrounded, try to eat something light and drink plenty of water to keep you hydrated but also to allow any toxins released by the sound healing to be flushed from the body.
Can I book a session as a gift for someone else?
Yes definitely! We issue e-gift vouchers with a one-year validity.
